This is my first time visiting to Borneo Samariang Waterpark with my family.Based on my experience,i enjoyed playing in this waterpark because it has so many games provided such as Hornbill Island,Santubong Tower, and Salak Beach Wave Pool but i really enjoyed playing in Santubong Tower because it has a challenging ride that suitable for an adult person.Besides, the entrance ticket price and rental fees is affordable for Sarawakian people than Sunway Lagoon.

It was a bit far from Kuching City. Need to drive around 30mins to reach there.
Rate per entrance is consider cheap if you compare with Sunway lagoon water park. It only has water park which is easier for you to plan your time with several long slides & wave pool which start at 11am. There is also mini water park lagoon for younger one like 12 years old & below which also have few slides, pool & water castle.
Was a good trip outing for the ticket money you paid in getting this water park adventure experience.

Ive been there woth my friends. The tickets is reasonable (MYR 28) and MYR 22 for student card holder. The equipment okay with the locker room and shower room. The game in the waterpark only a fews and we able to complete all games within 20 minutes unless u love to repeat and repeat the same games. Food is cheap and reasonable. Parking spot also huge. Overal the waterpark suit the price.

I went to the water park with my wife. We both enjoyed the rides as there was no limit. All the rides are a bit scary but full of fun. I saw a video on youtube "kuching water park" on the channel "i am raj", very detailed visualisation of all the rides and specially the wavepool and clearwater mt Mulu cave.

One of the best water parks in Borneo island. Slides are amazing for adrenaline rush. Staff are professional and its not too overly crowded.

Personally would favour if the water park had more shares and trees, but well, its one of the cheapest water parks available.

Also, place becomes very hot with less shade so make sure you wear waterproof sunblock unless you dont mind the sunburn.

Tip, go during holiday or always look out for promos on their FB page. Rates go even lower!

Please make sure to apply sunblock before you are going to this place!!!! Because there is no place to avoid sun EXCEPT the food court area, rent for a small "REST PLACE" and a small area of waiting area.

Everyone had a great time. The location is a bit out of Kuching, maybe half an hour, but the setting is a bonus. There are views of Mt Santubong and surrounding forest. Our 3 kids loved the rides and tried them all apart from our 8 year old gave the plug hole/crystal slide a miss. The speed racers were great fun and the plug hole was a favourite too. There seemed some good options for those with younger kids too, a whole separate area.

The place was pretty empty, more staff than customers on a Monday afternoon. We didn’t try any food, just got some drinks on the way out. The cashless wristband was great, we used it to pay for the lockers and tubes.

A fun family afternoon.

I write this review after my 5th visit to this park. Each visit is always has been exiting and fun for both family and friends. There are improvements made with every visit i made there. The food menu has much more options that it used to be. More shadings and benches has been erected. That being said, there are some other few that might disappoint first comers. The place is most in shades of the grey. Most of the area are just bare cement, giving a very dull atmosphere. The cave at hornbil island is extremely disappointing as i is empty inside, no decorations and no paints. However, it seem the park do improve from time to time and may get better in 2 -3 years to come.

There are some advice i might need to put out there. Most of the transaction within the park only done through E-value. E-value are the amount of money you paid at either the Top Up Counters or the entrance ticket counter. I highly recommend any visitor to top up as much as they can to avoid going places in a rush or going through and fro. Any unused E-Value can be refund back at the refund counter. To solo visitors; RM50 will do enough for renting a locker (medium) and a tube (single). To visitors that are bringing friends and family, please top up RM 150 or more if everyone in your group are going to play. Note that renting are not done at the ticket counter outside. There is a renting counter inside the park itself so all renting should be done there.

This new waterpark is a must-do for families, even mum and dad will enjoy the wild waterslides. They work with an automatic paying system on your wristband. You can rent a tube, cabin and pay for your food without using money.
