I am a regular visitor to Kuching and always look forward to relaxing with a massage during my time there. In a city full of day spas and massage parlours, Mirage is by far the best I have been to. It is conveniently located close to the major hotels (a short walk from the Hilton and the Pullman Hotels) and is very reasonably priced for what you get. The interior is nicely appointed and you feel relaxed the moment you step inside. The staff are very friendly and make you feel most welcome. Mirage have trained and qualified masseurs that can offer everything from gentle soothing massages to deep tissue sports massages (my favourite). Highly recommended!

My travel buddy recommended this place as just 3 mins walk from where we stayed, Pullman Kuching. Arrived on Fri night 9.30pm & went straight to Mirage Spa to book our appt for next day. The place is pretty unique, a little white color building sitting on a little plot of land, with nothing next to it, but 8secs away to a row of shop houses.

We were greeted by the super friendly & lovely staff became friend (Mary & Jennifer), chosen the 2hrs treatment for RM120nett / about SGD$50 (this is if you prefer 1hr massage + scrub). or you can choose RM110nett for 2hrs solid massage, 90mins RM90nett or 60mins RM68nett. Pls reconfirm the prices with the spa in case i remember incorrectly. After a whole Saturday exhausted from all the walking, we thoroughly enjoyed our massage in the evening as the masseurs were really experienced, just wish the session were longer.

Definitely will be back again the next time visiting Kuching! Also special thanks to Mary for making us feel so at home away from home, you are truly the GEM we found.

My Husband and I booked in for a 1.5 Full Body Boreno Signature Massage. Here is our experience.

Pros

Nice venue, clean and smells lovely when walking in
Friendly reception staff
Well spoken english
Well presented staff
A lovely cup of ginger tea when coming in - although due to the heat out side, a cup of cool ginger tea would of been more welcomed
Massage for couples in the same room
Massage couch comfortable
Aircon perfect temperature
Massage music (alot of places in asia lack this)

Cons

Massage Therapists talking to each other!
This is a big letdown as everything else was so good our time was spoilt by therapists whispering to each other, stopping massaging to hand signal to each other and giggling through the massage.

This has put me off having joint massages in Asia now as I would rather be in a room on my own where my therapist can concentrate solely on me - as that is what we are paying for.

I would of given 5 stars but this was such a put off we decided not to rebook, even though the therapists were very good.

I am a UK masseur and would never dream of having conversations with colleagues while massaging a client. Giggling at a client is extremely rude, in any culture.

I hope management takes that seriously.

Went here after reading reviews from TripAdvisor. I thought I will give a shot and try my luck. Guess what, it's totally worth it for every single penny that you spend.
My masseuse that day was Ms. Bibi. I asked if there was any male masseuse around but she said, most of them are female, so I'm fine with it.
The reception area looks bit dodgy and outdated, but once I went to the massage roon on the left area, then it looks better.
Took the 90 minutes body massage with additional Lavender aromatherapy oil. Once Bibi laid her magic hands on my feet, the magical journey started..
I usually like my massage bit hard, but I guess Bibi knows how to play the trick well. Gentle and smooth till the last minute.. I really enjoyed it very much.
It was definitely one of the best massage that I ever tried. Definitely will come back again. In this case, I give the massage session 5 STAR service.

On the outside, it doesn't look any fancy or impressive BUT once you get into the massage, total bliss. The masseur really knew what she was doing and I float into dreamland (only 1 out of 20 massages).

Because of my work I get 3-4 massages per month, and have done so for the past three years. I know good and I know bad. Mirage is a pleasant environment, clean and average by spa standards. Maria is well above average and worth every dollar. She is one of those therapists who can "sense" what you need and where you need it. I will be booking my fourth visit with her soon!

Massage was average and ambiance is average too- not the new or luxurious type. RM88 for an hour massage- price is abit on the high side. Nothing great nothing bad, just average.

Booked their couple package which was a foot spa, scrub and a full body massage for 3 hours for my husband's birthday. It wasn't as pampering as I expected it to be for the price I was paying. The foot spa was done in a public area, the scrub was good. Loved the hydrotherapy, that was a first time for us. And the massage was good. But all in all, the couple package wasn't so much for a couple after all..except that the massage was in the same room.
