We took this tour as part of our organised itinerary and wasn't sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the commentary and the fact that there was unlimited free juice available throughout. Other drinks were available to purchase. There was a welcome dance display from dancers of different tribes. Interesting views and it helped us to get... More

The sunset cruise is well worth doing as an introduction to Kuching as the 90 minute cruise highlights most of the key sites up and down stream. The cruise leaves at 530 returning at 7pm so provides an opportunity for a great sunset as you return to port. Cost is 65 Myr per adult Unlike many trips of this type,... More

We visited Kuching during the low season, so there were only six people on this cruise. This meant we got to move around the boat and an excellent view of the cultural dances. The seat on the top deck have the best views. The guide spoke excellent English and was really helpful - we had a long chat with him... More

Wondering what to do in Kuching in the evening? Head down to the Kuching waterfront and book into the Sarawak River Cruise. It starts at 5.30 but if you want to get vantage seats on the upper deck, you will have to be there by 5 pm. We were lucky to have great weather that day.The cruise ship is a... More

It is a 1 hour tour by river cruise ship in the Sarawak river. They entertain with welcome drink and cakes and cultural dance performance. But one hour is not enough. Wished to roam more.

Although it's raining, it's more enjoyable to sit on the rooftop than in lower deck. The highlight of the cruise is a cultural dance. We were also served with orange cordial drink and finger size kueh lapis. The children loved the performance but got a shock when the guy suddenly stomped his feet and shouted as part of the dance.

Enjoyable way to end the day. Relaxed with a nice breeze. Seeing the sights along the river. Nice to be able to have a cool beer along the way
