We went on a sunset cruise (5-8pm) to see the proboscis monkeys, crocodiles and fireflies. The weather was good and we managed to catch a very beautiful sunset, along with seeing all of the animals above. Didn't manage to see the dolphins though as they are more active in the day.

I went on the river cruise with my family and it was really nice. We all liked it a lot. We were pretty lucky animal-wise and we saw both dolfins, salt water crocodile and proboscis monkeys. The guides were very knowledgeable about the area and were nice. They even brought us homemade cake and fresh fruit. Very nice trip. Would recommend for everyone

The most exprience and great journey with this guy Ehwan Ibrahim +60198785088 trip. I do 3 in 1 trip which is Satang Island, Wetland cruise and Dolphin watching together in 1 day. The affordable price with the best treat showed by the owner. For your extra information, Ehwan Ibrahim is the philosopher in Santubong that makes this trip happened.

It was exciting!!!! It was my first time seeing the dolphins and the monkeys with my family, and also the first time I went on a small boat! Didn't explore much that day, but I do want to visit there again in the future!

another awe inspiring experience and worth the visit if you a in this part of the world. There is also the opporutnity to stay over there but i do day visits travelling to the river from the hilton hotel and hiring a boad that you give a time to come and collecct you at. The taxi will also return for you. Dont run your hands through the water as there are live crocidiles in tehre finding out aftern I did an iimpression of an old flake advert the boatman took me to a corner where the crocs had been caught. There is a coffee shop you need to ensure you have your valuables secure as it is the local wildlife who have learned to pickpocket the monkeys will come into resteraunts and steal your food as well but a very memorable and happy experience, hope to do further visits when in area lots of wildlife like monkeys, mudskippers, pot bellied pigs that roam around fabulous ancient trees and pitcher plants used by monkeys for toillets lots of fauna and trails and affordable to do if not staying your last boad will leave about 5 the daylight here is roughly 7-7 like a curtain going up and down very hot and humid also so make sure you have plenty of water

Great half day trip arranged through Borneo Adventure. Cruised along the Santubong River, saw crocodiles, great egrets, kingfishers and finally the Irrawaddy River dolphins! Not easy to photograph, as they only surface for 2-3 seconds and you're never sure where - but we did manage a few reasonable shots!

We went on a river night time cruise. Amazing! We saw Irrawaddy dolphins, different types of monkey and when it had gone dark, fireflies that were truly magical! This is an absolute must. We even had food as the sun went down. Great staff and thoroughly knowledgeable about the area. Stunning!

This was our first activity in Borneo and we really enjoyed it. We booked in the morning for an afternoon cruise. If we had booked this tour through our hotel it would have cost a lot more. We ended up booking through Pardadesa Borneo. Other agencies we noted who organised this tour are CPH Travel and Borneo Adventures. All can be found in downtown Kuching. Though we booked through Paradesa our guide was from Borneo Adventures. His name was Daniel and he was great.
We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the boat club (around 40 minutes). On the tour we saw monkeys, fireflys, crocodiles and we got a quick glimpse of an irrawaddy dolphin. We stopped in at the local fishing village and then spent time on the water eating a lovely dinner(provided) while watching the sun set. We then travelled back to the boat ramp at night under a blanket of stars lit up by an approaching storm. We loved it. A fantastic way to start our Borneo visit.

Being very interested in wildlife of all description we opted to visit the Wetlands Park once early morning and then in the evening.
Both trips were enjoyable and interesting for different reasons,
in the morning we saw the Irrawady snub nosed dolphins and a
wonderful specimen of crocodile and in the eveing we were once againl lucky enough to see the dolphins and the proboscis
monkeys. Highly enjoyable

We took this amazing breathtaking trip and was arranged by our Hotel Concierge. It takes about 1 hour to reach the Wetlands National Park from town. You will be taken by a speed boat to catch glimpse of long nosed monkeys, Irrawady Doplhins, firefly and crocodiles.

Can someone advise me how to get to the park on my own?
Is there an entrance or pick-up point somewhere that can be accessible by land? Thanks.

I'm very interested in the evening Wildlife Cruise but a bit worried about the crocodiles. Are they aggressive? Will they come near our boat as we cruise along?

Yes they are, it is wildlife. So keep your hands on board, especially when it's dark. Go wirh a tourguide and they will keep distance when approaching a crocodile en will move when the crocodile dives under water.

Hallo iedereen,
Hi everyone,
can anyone tell me of how I need to get there by public transport from Kuching and where I need to be?
I am planning to visit Borneo in august and also be in Kuching.
Is this also doable with a 7 year old child?
Is it better to take a guide, what is your experience?
How much will it cost me to do this trip, I am talking about public transport and maybe guide and entrance and so.
Thanks in advance for your response.
