more than 70% of the shop inside the mall are closed. there are only few reason why people go to this mall. GSC is here, and popular book store. furthermore, the parking is free.

The mall is huge. The shops on first and second are fully occupied.
The best thing in the mall is the cinema.

The mall firstly opened with so much expectation but it really really fell short! Only the ground floor outlets were of OK but the rest its like Sungai Wang Plaza in the old days. The only reason I can find where I need to be there is for movies at GSC or DIY

CityOne is definitely not “mega”and barely even a “mall”. At 11am on a weekday we were almost the only people in the entire 3 floors of shops ... not that there are many shops! It is mostly a display of failed stores, for lease signs, and empty hallways.
Not worth visiting. When we told local friends we had been they just laughed - they knew better!

Food and beverage seems to be key success factor for kuching malls. Relocation to bigger ground floor maybe necessary to bring back the crowd.

Was here for the holidays with the family and I must say that this area is quite lively. The outer structure of the mall looks like the nest stadium in china. There are many things to see and buy. There is a cinema here which makes it more entertaining. But aside from this, the mall is on an average scale which makes it fairly boring after couple of hours. There are also a limited restaurants (whether in the food court or outside) which makes you want to go elsewhere.

Best movie theater in town.
Food court has nothing much to highlight.
I think kuchingnites either come here for movie or karaoke, otherwise for coffee sessions at a few cafe which is always full during weekends.
Every weekend they have different activities/events/exhibition in the mall.
Good for family weekend getaway for movie. kids at the playzone, teens at the bookstore, father at the IT shops and mother at the cafe.
