Great for a stroll in the evenings when the food stalls and street sellers are out. No one hassling you to come in or buy anything. A lot of tourists around. Very casual and laid back.

This was once a rundown warehouse area. It is now a lively, colourful district with restaurants, cafès, and shopping. The sidewalk is tree lined with views along the river of forts and palaces. Time to smell the roses.

The views from the riverside were nice. Some of the shops for Borneo-inspired souvenirs were quite cute, but in general we didn't find the shops and restaurants as interesting as we had expected.

Nice view in the evening especially after raining and the scenery is very calm and peacefully. I would recommend you to come a visit and feel it by yourselves

An evocative and ambient walk which both relaxes and invigorates the soul. A trip to Kuching isn't complete without a walk along the river and taking in the beauty and atmosphere that typifies Kuching.

The food served in the several stands is very average, the scenery itself doesn't derserve the "détourd" and why on earth does each of the stand turn up its sound system at full blast????

Great place to stroll in Kuching Sunset over the river was gorgeous. Lots of families out and about and we saw the bubble people generating joy for the young and old. Dinner was satay beef and chicken with the side serves of rice and cucumber for 25 RM. Plenty of food options starting at 5 RM.

Waterfront at Kuching is great for an evening stroll. Colourful lights, street vendors, food stall and buskers line the way. Over the Sarawak river the legislative chamber and Astina are also bedecked creating a great festive spirit. Lots of groups of people enjoy this area every evening and it feels very safe.

Great place to walk and enjoy the riverbank area, local food stall and Sarawak cake for sale. Take a boat ride across Ro the other side.

This esplanade borders the Sarawak river & shows off many wonderful features both during the day & also the evening. There are a number of small eatries offering a wide range of local delights. There is also a number of seats available so that we could just sit & enjoy the view of the rivers activities.
