Esplanade stroll

The Kuching esplanade is a lovely place to stroll in the evening with a lovely view and many food stalls to find some dinner.

Not much going on here. Was hoping to find somewhere to have dinner - no luck. Worth a wander, but don't expect to find much.

A pleasant place to meander around and a place to catch the 1 ringit local boats to walk to the excellent layered cake shop and up the hill to the fort, art gallery and views over Kuchong

Loved Kuching the esplanade is beautiful plenty of things to look as a little bit of a contrast to the back streets plenty of security although there is no problems look out for the new bridge being built although I hope people still use the little ferries for 1 ringett

Relaxed Strolling along the Eslanade of Kuching City, the scenic is unusual, as it is blended with local cultural charms. The evening provides a colorful picture along the river side. The Northern shore of the river possesses a local cultural favor, while the Eastern bank has the typical urban face.

The Kuching waterfront has transformed over the years Just opposite the Hilton hotel. Locals go there to watch the street buskers and just hangout by the serene river after sunset, amd tourists go there for the many sights and stalls selling souvenirs, street food, and knick knack. During the day, you'll be able to take the Sarawak river cruise, sampan... More

I enjoy walking along the banks of the river, watch small boats and cruise ships pass by. Some days, buskers/local musicians line the banks adding to the atmosphere of vendors selling food/drinks, local delights and souvenirs. Some joggers also run along here. Plenty of benches to rest and enjoy the sunset or just people watch.

Along the Esplanade you can enjoy dinner, buy gifts, local crafts & cakes as well as live musics (buskers).

it's nice to just stroll along the esplanade/waterfront either in the morning or evening as it's cooler during both times, less people in the morning compared to during the evening. Though if you're a foodie then you'd appreciate the many small stalls set-up during the evening (from 4ish pm). You can also take the small traditional boats or called "perahu... More
