Did the bike tour round Kuching and Sarawak cookery lesson. Guide showed us safe routes round the City and visited many interesting places, particularly north of the river. Cooking lesson was fun and provided an excellent lunch. Would recommend.

We had a great morning out riding seeing the city. We received great service, had a very friendly guide who was extremely accommodating with our young family. Would highly recommend.

Went on a 3-day adventure tour with Paradesa. It wasn't full 3 days exactly as the tour brought us back to our hotel by latest 3pm each day. We were able to rest after a morning of tiring physical activities before heading out to enjoy Kuching in the evening. Bottled water was provided everyday and messages of conservation and eco-friendliness were strongly brought across.

I wasn't aware that there would be a different guide each day till I asked the first guide on the first day who brought us to Bako National Park. Each guide was very knowledgeable and took very great care of us. We woke up at 4am on the first day due to the tide conditions but it was all worth it as we were able to see the Proboscis Monkey at the National Park under the guidance of our guide.

Having a different guide each day makes sense as each had their speciality. The river guides for the second day made sure we were safe and carefully guided us through our kayaking down the calm river. We would have appreciated that we were expected to wear shoes during the kayaking beforehand, so that I could have packed my diving boats. My sneakers were soaked and destroyed during this trip. We had to wear shoes as we had stops along the 10km ride where we had to get down from the kayak and walk along the rocky river bed at a few of the pit stops.

The off-road biking tour was the most physically demanding and fun! I had expected some dirt road but not rocky jungle terrain. Luckily we were able to make it through without being thrown off the bike. We had pushed our bikes up the steep slopes in the jungle and through dense vegetation. Definitely not recommended for amateur cyclists. On-road biking option would still be very enjoyable as the guide cycled according to our paces and took care of our safety (from cars and other vehicles) on the road. The Wind and Fairy caves were also very magnificent attractions. We saw many bats and even a swiftlet hatchling up close! All thanks to the keen eyes of the guide!

Overall, it was a very trip with a different and fun adventure everyday! Recommended for nature lovers and those who wants an adrenaline packed holiday!

We did the 2 day tour during monsoon and even though it rained the entire 1st day Alex our tour guide did everything he could to make the most of it. Alex was also super flexible the 2nd day when we had to rush a bit to make a flight and the boat captain was ready and waiting to take us back slightly earlier than originally booked.

Alex was amazing and super informative.

The initial accomodation was disappointing especially as a better room was available and we did upgrade but had to pay, considering how much the tour was we felt this was a little disappointing from the operators - as they didn’t even ask us if we would want to upgrade.

The only other sad and disappointing thing was the amount of rubbish on the beaches and in the mangroves :-( frustrating when you see the staff moving twigs off grassy areas or sitting around at the accomodation when there is tonnes of waste on the beaches. This waste comes from the city down the river everything from sofa chairs to tv’s! We both wanted to help clean it up but couldn’t as there was no where to then put it or take it :-(
recommend all tourists to mention this and spread the word, while it’s a eye sore - money talks, if they think tourism will be affected eventually they will do something about it - and hopefully influence state government to do something about Malaysia’s plastic obsession.

Finishing on a positive note the nature and animals we saw during our stay was absolutely amazing- Alex knew all their hideouts; day and night! 🤩 highly recommend.

Dear Scottishoz, Thank you for recommending this Bako 2 Day 1 Night tour which is renown for its spectacular wildlife and amazing nature. Alex is most pleased that you enjoy his guiding service and managed to get you both back to Kuching in time for your flight. We will take note of your recommendation to offer upgrade for the room as an option for future guests. As for the rubbish issue, we thank you for your feedback which we will bring it up the our state relevant agencies. This is a long term recurring issue that affects many part of our coastline. It is not yet on the radar as an important environmental issue but we are looking to change that. Thank you once again for caring.

A very well curated trip planned by Paradesa, we did multi day trip with them which included cycling, speed hiking & kayaking. This was all inclusive trip with some great home stays & amazing home cooked food & wine's. Day 1 we cycled to Annah rais longhouse with complete SUV support provided by Paradesa & their team (Farah & Lester) The homestay was warm & the host dished out some wonderful delicacies which I still have cravings for ! They even catered for my partners food choices & allergies, which was never a trouble during the entire trip.... The cycle ride was challenging but great fun with lester & farah's company on the 1st day

Day 2 we were lucky to see a orangutan at Semenggoh Rehabilitation center who came down to enjoy some fruits after calls from the rangers. This was followed by multiple waterfall trek where we also met up with a local musician Ezra, popular musician who plays sape, their traditional music instrument... This evening we stayed at another picturesque home stay with mountain & river views.... Again our host MJ prepared sumcious local delicacies, even replicating some of them in vegetarian form to cater to our needs. This was followed by amazing local fruits & breakfast the next morning before we left them.

Day 3 itinerary was looking menacing, which included 10KM kayaking in free flowing jungle water followed by a long distance cycle ride for our night stay at Siniawan (chinese town, which resembles old american cowboy town) But this was the best day of the trip, kayaking was made so much fun thanks to 'David' & Macqueen from Semadang Kayak team. David is a riot when it comes to jokes, he really helped us relax & enjoy the experience.

Next Lester drove us to the fairy caves to explore them before we were back on our saddles to end this amazing day.

The cycle route was thru small villages & lakes, it was easy ride & farah even helped us customize this day as per our liking . After settling in that evening, we walked into a english pub in a chinese town which resembles like a old movie set from wild wild west... The Bikalan is where we met with Andy the pub owner, it surely was a odd setting but we had a great time at this place with Andy & his hospitality... a must visit to this place when in Siniawan.

Next day was a fun half day of cycling on rolling hills & soaking in some good bright sun with time to time breaks for cut fruits which Farah & lester had packed for us for this ride. Following which we checked in a resort where we did a cook out all well organized by both Farah & lester ensuring all the necessary dietary restrictions were met again.

This evening's planned activity was frogging, looking for tiny colorful frogs in the Kubah national park. Paradesa had again arranged for a special guide for this activity and it was a wonderful time walking the slopes of this park spotting tiny frogs, some of us even got to see the 2nd smallest frog in this world.... day 4 ended back at the resort

Day 5, involved a drive to santubong foothills, this is where we started our speed hiking in one of the many well marked trails in this region. The trails here are very well marked, probably thanks to the trail running community . As always Farah was with us during this speed hike which was a good 2-3 hrs with some interesting terrain & a blue pool section to refresh ourselves midway during the hike... ended the trip with sipping hot coffee and lunch in a beach shack at the end of the trail... before we were dropped to our hotel back in Sarawak..

It was a great holiday thanks to the planning & efforts of Paradesa and more importantly farah & lester during the trip. Farah is very knowledgeable about this region & thanks to her network of friends we had such a blast..

Will always fondly remember this experience !

Dear Satcra, Thank you for this comprehensive day to day breakdown of the trip, and we really appreciate these valuable feedbacks. It was a pleasure hosting you both on this trip. Farhah, Lester, our local hosts and the supporting community guides are very happy that you appreciate their service and hospitality. With regard to Day 3 (Kayak, Cycling and Cave), you are right, this is normally the best day of the trip based on all the feedbacks. Finally, thank you for the fond memories. From all of us, we wish you both all the best in your future endeavors in Singapore.

We went to visit the Fairy cave and the wind cave. The guide was excellent with brilliant English and very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna.
The trip gets an excellent view of bats as well as other insect and plant life in the caves.
Be careful with timings as the trip was advertised as 4 hours and we were out for 6 1/2 hours which left little time for our other plans.

Fantastic jungle walk to see 2 lots of waterfalls.
Excellent tour guide.
Boat ride on the lake to the jungle walk starting point. Great walk, crossing over many bamboo bridges, and many stairs to climb to reach the waterfalls, but this was not difficult just need suitable footware.
Waterfalls are beautiful.
Headed back down through the jungle, on the boat to the old village ( now used for tourist overnight stays).
Our other guide had made us a huge traditional Malaysian feast. Could have stayed there longer and just relaxed high up looking at the lake.
Then boat trip back over the lake to the Dam, where we were dropped off, and then taken back to our hotel.
Excellent day tour.
Highly recommend

I did the Borneo Kayak day trip. It was as usual, really well organised. I used them 4 years ago with my younger son after his PSLE. This year, my son asked to visit Kuching again after his O levels. He insisted that mom goes with us to do the kayaking trip. David, Mc Queen and Norman are really great tour guides. I especially like it when David sang us a song which he composed to express his gratitude to his company for keeping him employed during the difficult times when Covid-19 hit. Loving the experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to do some outdoor activities at Kuching.

Dear M2838QMjamesw, Thank you for remembering us after 4 years and it is great that your whole family come and join this time round. Yes, it was a challenge through covid for the tourism industry in Sarawak. Thank you for providing your moral support.
