A beautiful temple located about 1 km from waterfront. Temple is nicely maintained and one can feel the divine experience and peace. Sri Srinivasagar Kaliamman Temple is a Goddess Kali temple.

You will find the place very peaceful, serene and holy. Must visit this temple when you are in Kuching. Best time to visit the temple is early morning.

The temple are fill with magnificence statue of the gods and goddess of the Indian religion, no retraction to visitors but like any others Indian temples no shoes are allowed, the keeper here are friendly and the surrounding are peaceful. The nearest hotel to this temple are The Continental Hotel situated just next to it. if you are looking for a peace of mind you may stay and sit inside the temple for a while otherwise it will be a quick tour.

Very nice place to worship although small. Centrally located. I would say at least there is a temple in foreign city for Hindus to worship.

This is a small hindu temple located right at the intersection of Jalan Ban Hock and Kalan Song Thian Cheok. You can easily see the temple from the street, on the south side of the intersection. It has a decent outermost wall which blocks the road noise and gives a definite sense of peacefulness in an otherwise bustling part of town. There are a number of interesting statues of gods and goddesses and the temple is in good condition with no chipping paint or worn edges. Visitors are asked to remove shoes before entering. Overall a very good temple worthy of a 15 minute visit if you're walking by.

Aesthetic and No Different to Temples in India The Faith shows us that Greatness Of God is manifested in so many forms and as I mention that we are inter connected to the Environment Bio Diversity and what our purpose in this Web Of Life is. I Believe that as an Old Faith there is So Much that we can apply in relation to our role in Environmental stewardship Social justice and further knowledge and learning a visit to Sri Srinivasagar temple will enable the thinker to go beyond the intellectual comfort zone to territories farther and wider, I am a believer in the Elephant Clock each researcher must do their own searching and find out what it is
Sri Srinivasagar show that the Answers to all our questions do not lie in political isms but in Faith which can be found here. Temples and other places show that Sarawak and Malaysia are Multi-Faith Harmonious and practice many beliefs without prejudice congratulations are due to all the communities of Sarawak State Federation Of Malaysia

The place was totally empty when I visited, I sat and meditated for some time (nearly 2 hours went by...) and the priest came to say hi as he made preparations for noon pooja. The temple is usually much more busy in morning (6.00am) and evening (7.00pm) prayer times.

As I was the only person there the priest and I had a much indepth conversation about Hinduism and my experiences in Singapore, Malaysia and India.

We then discreetly went our own ways, completed rounds of the temple and faded away like a dramatic Bollywood scene :)

This colourful Hindu temple is located near the waterfront. Seems this is the only Hindu temple in the city centre. Visit to experience the different local culture and religion of the city.
