While a few nice murals are still present, the place seems to be in a crumbling state of disrepair with paint peeling and fading. Driving here is also a bit of a nightmare.

Sadly the hanging orangutan and the barrow of baby orangutans have now been replaced - painted over with graffiti style ‘Kuching’ (pictured). Confirmed this with the locals too. Such a shame!
Some other nice examples are still about though!

I did a bike ride around Kuching & we came across quite a few of the murals.
They were great fun & good to photograph.

I like street art, especially those that evoke a sense of nostalgia or positive feelings. The orang utans were quite cute and the wheelbarrow was real, well at least half of it. We had fun posing with it. Also to remind us of the need for conservation and rehabilitation of orang utans.

Keep you eyes open for the murals dotted around Kuching. The Orangutan ones although a little faded are worth a look and bought a smile to our faces.

I actually saw 5-7 murals in Kuching which I didn't expect and it reminded me of old town Ipoh area. Quite nice

We expected a long alley of murals but instead we found just one orang utan mural. The next corner hosts some more and that's it. Pretty good in itself but just need to manage your expectation

We really appreciated the beauty of this street art and took some great interactive photos. Previously we'd only seen this type of mural in Penang. Close to the river and Plaza Merdeka, definitely worth the visit.
