The food outlets garner more credit than the retail shops. Spent a day browsing thru and not even the “up to” 70% discount items were worth buying. Prices here are definitely not cheaper than downtown. Too bad the Food Court folded, otherwise that would’ve been a game changer. Listening to others here chatting, their take (hearsay of course) was old stocks and slow moving items that can’t be sold elsewhere are being tried to push off here. Still, the weekend crowd can be overwhelming. Nike should be the last shop to go, service here pales in comparison to Under Armour, Adidas, and Puma.

1st the shuttle bus was not on time compared to the chat provided. 2nd, so many shops were closed down or closed. Even it is pandemic, the mall should have done something to it as the only 2 most popular store, Nike and Adidas have super long queue which the waiting time at least 45 mins. 3rd, the cafes and restaurants have reduced significantly compared than before, when the Malaysia government announced reopening, the mall could have speak to the previous tenants etc. Was a huge disappointment as compared to the Taiwan or Japan Mitsui park.

Although a bit further out, it like 30 mins to an hour or so commute depending where you are.
Not to pack mall. Lots of premium brands and discounts. You're bound to find something you fancy. We didn't leave empty hands, quite full actually.

*** AVOID THIS PLACE ***
Arrived at KLIA on Xmas eve, visited Matsui. Wife grabbed different size clothing in the Quicksilver store and bag was promptly swiped.
Asking store employees to bring up CCTV was a time sensitive task that took way too long. Mall security was no more helpful. Had to get police involved days later. Turns out there's no camera on main entrance so they were unable to identify criminal(s).
Insane right? All sounded pretty shady to me. Long story short, I lost about $350 of freshly purchased Xmas presents for my wife, spent 4+ hours of my vacation being questioned, cross examined and then downtime waiting for them to scan useless CCTV footage.
*** AVOID THIS PLACE ***
Malls closer to city center have much better selection and security.

Lots of outlets. During rmco/covid19 restriction movement, there were few shoppers but quite a number during weekend. There are a number of reasonable price items at certain outlets .

I find Mitsui is quiet convenience and fair. Even though i am fromKuala Lumpur, but sometimes i drive to Mitsui for my designer outfit. The price cheaper than what i'd pay in boutique.
But you need to plan. You might get up to 80% discount if they have in store promotion.
From sunglasses down to my sandal i bought it there.
Adelaide family from Australia did comment and compare with cameron highland. I think she might confused with genting highland. Yes genting highland they do have premium outlet as well under same roof. But certain brand you can find at Mitsui that you will not able get at Genting . Same with Genting sometime the designer brand you will not get in Mitsui.
In term of price .... i agree might be in Australia cheaper. But not to one of commentator from Jakarta. "Not cheap at all". Id been to all of the places in Indonesia. I did not find any of the place or outlet can beat the price. But if you are comparing with the same quality like what we have at Petaling Street of course Mitsui is not the place. To me Mitsui will be my 2nd option after JPO of course.

Very convenient for tourists on transit in KLIA though Im not one. However the discounts offered by sellers are still not that attracting to spend. Just like normal discounts at malls in KL. So whats the purpose to call it Outlet?? The parking is also expensive for just 2-3 hours there. Food court is ok but the hawkers seem lazy to come out with new menu. Stucked and seasoned. Food served are also not that attractive. Shops are not variety enough. Should bring in more sellers with more offerings.
The Sepang area is too hot during the day. So getting into Mitsui mall is the best choice to cool off and look around for something to buy.

Getting there was easy and the shopping centre is modern and has all the brands you would expect. However the prices were not as cheap as I expected. We essentially only purchase one item despite spending many hours there. Didn't get a chance to try the food hall so cant comment n that. Shuttle bus runs regularly from each International terminal and the free baggage staorgae service is handy.

We had a 4 hour stopover during our transit, therefore decided to go to MOP for some shopping. There’s a free shuttle bus every 20mins which is convenient. The outlet centre has a range of shops which pretty good discounts! It’s not overly crowded so was easy to spend time looking at all the options. Recommended if you have some time and want to do last minute shopping.
