Pretty neat-o place. Pretty much has most of the major board games in stock. Nice place to play and buy. Hours are a bit odd since they only open at night on weekdays but I guess that's when people get off work or school.

Been here a number of times over the years and always have lots of fun and laughter with my family. Such a wide variety of games to pick from! The staff are very helpful and eager to teach. Great way for kids of all ages to learn new things, to cooperate and to strategize. Great family bonding and fun!

Being a growing tabletop games fanatic, Meeples has proved to be my go-to place to purchase any board game of my choice. The prices are quite reasonable and plus, you get a better discount if you are a member. I'm not yet a member, although I would be one very soon. You can find a board game that is hard to find anywhere in Malaysia. Kudos, Meeples.

It was a pleasant evening for our family to spend some time playing board games. We were given a menu board to choose our games. There are a lot of games to choose from. You can ask their staffs to explain about certain games. some games may take a longer time than others.

A friend recommended me as it is good to gather and have fun rather than sitting down and just have tea. I came here with a couple of my friends today. The staff were friendly and there were various types of games. The recommendation that they made were good! Would definitely come back here again.

3 of us decided to try out Meeples for the first time tonight with excitement. On arrival, we were given a laminated menu on the timing and pricing of the visit. We decided to go for the first 2hours package, i.e. RM 18 per person and told the staff.
The misadventure begins. First, no one approached us at all to ask if we needed anything else throughout the night there even as a courtesy call. My brother was sweating and felt suffocated with the lack of ventilation and poor air-conditioning. Hence, he approached one of the staff for help to turn up the air-conditioning but he was told to just accept the heat at first by giving an excuse that the heat was because there were many people around. He asked again and the staff handed over the remote control to him and to his dismay, the air-conditioning was set at its lowest fan speed and temperature, 25 degree celcius! This is mistreatment of customers and I was very disappointed by the disrespect given by the staff.
Halfway through, I asked for the timing left for our 2hours game or "up till what time can we play for our package of choice, i.e. 2hours limit?", the staff told us that we had time to play until 1am, which is their closing time and on our part, it meant we would have approached 2hours 25mins. The trick here is that we were misled by the staff to thinking that we had time till 1am and they were cheekily not informing our 2hours time limit, i.e.12:35pm to stop playing. When it is time to pay, there was a surcharge pay for overtime stay that we did not request for. They blatantly refused to admit their mistake and did not apologise. Instead their excuse was that his colleague did not understand our question. Which is understandable that they could not make the decision as their manager were not around but no effort was put in to attempt explaining, was told the management is not around and no advice was given on how to put in a complaint at all.
This could only mean one thing, we were CHEATED for being a first time customer. They were trying to hide this issue under the carpet and were hoping that we would accept their mistake and go quietly.
This is very disrespectful of the staffs with appalling customer service. Extremely misleading business operating service with intention to cheat customers. In short, we kindly, honestly told the staffs that we would put in a complaint to the management and promised to give a feedback in order to prevent future customers from being cheated.
Note: It was only a meagre small surcharge. As a surgeon working in the UK, I hate and despise dishonesty of the meeples staff.

Sorry to see your negative review here too. I'm sure you've received our emails & also viewed our comments on your Facebook review earlier.
Again, we are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience at our outlet. However, we must clarify here that the accusation about us cheating is gravely misleading. Our menu is publicly available on our website and we inform all customers about our rates the moment they are seated.
I am sure that your experience of feeling mistreated was the result of a series of miscommunication. Do note that our staff had no intentions of suffocating your brother to save electricity, nor do they get any commission from the gaming rates you paid.
As an honest & diligence company, we hope we could have the chance to better serve all of you in the near future! Game On! 😄

This is my first time to come in board game cafe. I have come over here to collect my membership card and enjoy a gaming session with friends. Game Coordinator is helpful and gives a good advice and support throughout the game. When I ask for advice on card game sleeves, he has also provide a constructive advice to me in avoidance of getting the wrong size online.
Prons:
a) Friendly staff
b) Pleasant environment
c) Wide array of board game, although we run out of time to give it a try
d) Constructive advice on side product of board game
Areas to be improve:
a) Gaming price is a bit higher than normal rate, especially for those non-member
b) Stringent filter of the usage of membership card.
- I do understand the management concern on the proper usage of member card, but when there is more than 2 person during the gaming session, my personal opinion is to offer the member rate to all of them to further encourage people to spend their time and apply for membership.
Overall, it is still a good place to enjoy a boardgame, but depend on personal budget.

We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. There are a ton of game choices and the workers know how to teach them all. Every time we have received great suggestions and have stayed for a couple of hours. They have good snacks and drinks and comfy couches.

Full disclosure: I have never been to a board game cafe before. I’ve never even heard of the concept; and I was ridiculously excited! Literally hundreds of board games lined the walls. You could either buy brand new games to take home with you, or to play there if you’d like, or you could simply rent them and play there!
I don’t exactly remember the different rates and packages they had, but I do remember it being reasonable, and the place was packed with students even on a weeknight. Students have tight budgets, so a full house says something.
Additionally they have a “Game of The Week”. You can come in as many times as you like, and play this game of the week for as long as you like…..for….free. Guess which game us cheapskates chose to play? 🙂
Here’s the best part though, I thought that the game of the week would be a really lame game, especially since it was called Patchwork and I had never heard or it before, but it was absolutely riveting!
We really need a Meeples board game cafe of something of the sort in Dubai! Who’s with me?

Definitely a place that is one of its kind to spend time with friends or family. Staff are patient and nice when explaining the rules of the boardgames.
One thing though, the hourly rate have recently been revised to lowest RM14 (for non-member) which used to be just RM6, it's rather expensive especially on Public Holiday EVE which non-member will be charged RM22 for an hour.

Yes, we revamped our gaming rates recently to provide greater experience & cater for different needs/expectations of diverse gamer groups too.
eg. we’ve adjusted the rates upwards on the weekends & holidays to reduce the long wait times/queue lines, to keep more gamers happy.
We also substantially reduced the rates on the specific groups by introducing different promotions too! For instance,

We're located in SS15 shop lot area. There are plenty of parking spaces, but might get really crowded on the working hours or weekend nights. Altenatively, you can go for the basement parking available at Menara Rajawali nearby. :)
