Overview
More
At the entrance of the old medina, in a former almond warehouse, l'Atelier Madada welcomes you under its stone arches. By small groups (8 persons maximum) and supervised by a professional team (a cook and a trilingual presenter) our hosts discover the secrets of Moroccan gastronomy and are initiated into the delights of one of the best cuisine in the world. In a friendly and casual atmosphere, those half-day workshops teach each participant how to prepare a full traditional meal that one can then easily reproduce at home.

This is a very professionally run cooking workshop with a beautiful modern professional kitchen and a translator for people who do not speak French or Arabic but it lacked a bit of soul. I actually tried to book online but couldn't so my riad ended...More

Absolutely one of the best parts of our trip - cooking and history of spices and culture all in one. Alyson and Mouna absolutely amazing - patient as I tried to get my onions and Chermoula minced enough. A true inside look and understanding of...More

I highly recommend this great class; I’m not an experienced cook but they only take a small group & it is informative, fun, hands on & the results are delicious.

Not only was the food delicious, the process of chopping, adding spices, stirring, cooking, tasting, etc. was lots of fun. The classroom holds eight students -- each with her (or his) own knives and prep area. The two teachers are master chefs, and I learned...More

I am so glad I took the class. Great information received, the food prepared was delicious as you get to eat what you cooked at the end of the class. Not to forget the visit to the spice shop I found so interesting.

I did the cooking and pastry classes one after the other and both were excellent. The chef has a great sense of humour and her instruction was excellent. We also had a photographer visit for the local exhibition! Just a great day all around :)
