It is not the best beach in the world but it has a lovely promenade, which is a pleasure to walk down. I found the beach has it's own charm. It also has some dogs, if that is of concern to you. You see the lads playing football on the beach and the local women sitting on the wall of... More

The beach is long and sandy but not scenic. The road follows along the beach. At the far end from the town are camels you can ride, but a bit far to walk if you are just here for the day.

They have just built a lovely boardwalk along the ocean side (as opposed to the port side) of the beach and it is perfect for sunset walks. By summer this boardwalk will be hopping with families, but for now it's pretty deserted and a bit windy at times. The sunset over a distant minaret makes for nice photos too.

It was winter so I didn't go swimming but boy was I tempted to as the water looked fantastic and clean, waves gently skimming the shoreline and gorgeous views. We went to see the ruins of the watchtower that once stood here (see pic) and the walk back to town along the beachfront is quite a long way, but so... More

While offering the usual - camel rides, surfing etc, nobody hassles you and it's very relaxed. Not packed with bars and clubs but enough facilities nearby to grab some food etc if needed. Good surf, clean beach, lovely spot.

It's a beautiful sandy beach that stretches for a couple of kilometers with windsurfing, camel riding, space cookie sellers, waves and a fantastic spot for a walk or peace and quiet. Beautiful.

It is one of the largest beaches I've ever encountered. Vast expanse of sand that can accommodate many people in summer. Considered as one of the most beautiful Moroccan .. All the year the trade winds keep it cool but sometimes sudden gusts force people to seek refuge in Medina to protect. At the edge of the beach is the... More

The main promenade is under construction but will be gorgeous when done. The beach has a very relaxed vibe and I'd full of Moroccans and westerners alike. When walking from the medina it takes less than an hour to walk right down to the end of the bag where you can arrange horse or camel rides, surfing or just stop... More
