Exhibits of semi-precious stones and shops for jewelry. The crystal cave is the first stop. Here you can see the quartz stones in its "original" environment. The large variety of gem stones displayed is fascinating as is the wide price range. The jewelry are beautifully made and is any lady's delight.

Kristal Galerie is a beautiful display of gems of all sizes, a peak into Namibia's mining history and a place to shop for a worthwhile souvenir. It was quite impressive to see such huge quartz pieces and learn about all the other gems specific to the country. My husband is a mining engineer so he was more intrigued by the... More

This place owned by the Kleinhans family exhibits a vast array of stones. Among them all the largest crystal cluster in the world. The entrance fee is minimal and goes through a caved route, which is a bit warmer than the rest of the exhibition due to the lights. all the semi precious stones, tanzanite, amethyst and various others are... My kids (ages 2 and 5 years) loved the crystal cave and filling a bag with beautiful stones to take home. I loved reading about the different types of stones and minerals they have on display. They had some huge, impressive specimens. I enjoyed looking through their jewelry shops afterwards, although their styles are a bit more modern than my... More

This modern building houses the biggest quartz and gemstone collection I have ever seen. Huge pieces of mountain cristals and a great variety of gemstones in enormous structures are in the exhibition. Highly recommended!!

It doesn't take long to visit this Crystal gallery but it is very nice and also has 2 nice shops, one cheap and cheerful and one with beautiful jewellery. Worth going if you have time in Swakop, even if you are not a geologist

Interesting venue with attached shops. They have a lot of kristals and such. I missed a bit more on the how they are formed but over all rich collection. The attached shops are high end but prices seemed to be ok, they have nice stuff for sale.

I was not overly thrilled at the thought of going to the Kristall Galerie but I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting it is. I highly recommend. The crystals are beautiful and have been thoughtfully displayed. There are information labels in English.

We were taken here as part of a QM2 excursion. If you are into minerals and gems, this will make a very interesting visit. It is very modern and clean, well presented, the staff are helpful and friendly and there are lots of opportunities to spend your money!
