We visited here recently and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the water and going for a refreshing swim in these tranquil settings. Would have loved to have stayed here longer and enjoyed another lobster being cooked over the coals by one of the friendly locals

Unfortunately on our recent attempt we were told the pool is now closed on cruise ship visit days. Apparently the local resort has the ownership rights.

Fabulous beaches and grilled lobster. A few hours off a cruise ship was not enough but it's getting us back to New Caledonia for a longer stay

This was approx 30-45 min trek but the pool was amazing. Some of the best snorkelling in New Caledonia in quite shallow water.

Ask reception how to get there, you can support the locals and pay an admission fee or you can walk along the beach to get there. Such a breathtaking spot. Take an underwater camera and bread and feed the fish, you will be surrounded by...More

Prior to my cruise I had booked a return trip to the Piscine Naturelle and it surprisingly included a few other stops. We only asked to stay for a few hours which was plenty of time. After a short walk (just follow the blue signs)...More

What a beautiful island! Stunning tropical island scenery but with a twist - the sight of huge native pines growing everywhere is just amazing. Lots to do with local tours or organised activities such as snorkelling, diving, paddle boards and the like or just swimming...More

certainly no need for snorkelling tour you just step into the water and it's all there. There is a bus that tours the islands historical points that you can pay and grab when you arrive - they may know of a snorkel expert... More
