Been living in Astoria for over 4 years now and the sunset at Astoria Park never gets old. Aside from awesome views of the skyline, river, and trees... Astoria Park has a dope skatepark.

This is a beautiful park on the East River. The lawns are quite large for picnics or playing outdoor games. Stunning views of Manhattan.

This park is really nice, with a walkway across the street up against the East River, it is pretty long and has lots of greenery, go during a weekend with the family during warmer weather for a picnic

I gave this parkmthe nickname in the title after my daughter, SIL, and grandson moved to Astoria in fall 2017. Lovely walking paths, a good playground for young children. But, as I explored, I discovered tennis courts, a gauge swim, no pool complex, fitness paths...More

In the 1930’s there was no air-conditioning and many city residents didn’t even have indoor bathing facilities. Thus Parks Commissioner, Robert Moses, an avid swimmer who believed in health through exercise, constructed 11 public pools with public bath houses, throughout the city.
