Quiet location with interesting museum. Very good for bird spotting. EAsiest to hire a car and then simple to find.

The museum is the best part here, certainly spend more time in it than looking at the nearby ruins. Attempts to grow the frankincense trees doesn't seem to have worked, nearly dead.

I was able to see old artifacts, ruins of old civilizations. I also learned about the benefits of frankincense.

A very quiet place to and would say worth visiting in salalah...I would suggest to take walk than taking a buddy ride......visiting the remaining's of the history to understand.......

This museum offers more than what the name suggests. Well documented but concise history of Oman. Also maritime museum has a lot to offer. However, if you have visited the National Museum in Muscat before you will not get too many additional insights. Also outdoors...More

Boring. Just a coupe of stones. You can't really see any remains of buildings. Big area with sand, stones and a fence that makes seeing the see impossible
