Remarkable building for such a small town. Square blocks with glass walls around an open staircase with a glass pyramid shaped roof. Quite modern, however there is a traditional tiled cover over the lobby area. Free internet and there is a small café inside.

I was in a hurry to get a good internet connection because of work, and someone jn the town recommended me to go to the library. I had no idea this town had such an amazing place. The lady in the entrance was very kind for allowing me to use their internet at no cost for one hour. I wish... More

On the main road and a short walk from the the town centre, the library also sells some books, many in English.

A wonderful community effort. English and Spanish language resources and free internet. A nice place to relax and catch up on your reading, enjoy a cup of coffee or study.

It is worth it just to take a walk through the library to see the building. It is beautiful. Free wifi there too.

The library is vibrant with local art, globally sourced books and comfortable seating to invite one to sit and read. I was delighted to see many children using the facility and also saw that a class schedule was posted for various activities.

Boquete library offers a lot for locals and visitors. No need to pay overweight or bring your kindle, you can enjoy the old fashion sensation of reading a book while on holiday. A new feature of the library is their collection of books about hummingbirds, a donation of Ralph Dessau. At this moment the library is featuring until July 29... More

We loved the biblioteca de Boquete, despite some obvious shortcomings. As the only lending library in Panama (!) the Boquete facility has quite a reputation for service, accessibility and offerings. As visitors to Boquete, we acquired a temporary borrower's card easily, with a $20.00 refundable deposit, and used it several times. Four stars only because the library needs to work... More

Built with the help and backing of the local expat community, this place is great for local Panamanian families and local expats. Special clubs and art exhibits use the third floor. Schools bring classes here daily for different educational teachings.
