Really beautiful place, a must see if you´re in Bocas! We did a tour, visited the coral reefs, dolphin bay, sloth island and Zapatilla. Amazing place, but you have to bring your own beverages!

The beach is very nice but be warned, there are no services on the island. We came here on a tour which was a nice stop but if your don't plan to visit in a tour then arrange your own trip for a fraction of...More

Very beautiful island. You can only visit during the day and you're not allowed to camp here, but it is one of the things that makes it so beautiful and untouched! Pristine blue waters and white sand beaches. Drop dead gorgeous!

Try to arrange your own boat to get you there and pick up... or pay $30 (dolphins, starfish, snorkeling and a lunch stop where you buy your own lunch) plus $10 for entrance to National Park. Not good value: dolphins- you get to see a...More

Take your own beverages! There is not really anything on this small island, but it was a very pretty place to watch the breaking waves. My husband walked around the island in about 45 minutes. We did not look for the walking path through the...More

We've travelled to a lot of beaches and Zapatillas are our favorite! Warm water, calm beaches, great snorkeling and an adventure to get there. It should be at the top of your list if you are traveling to Bocas.

Our day trip to Zapatillas was the top activity we did out of our 9 weeks through Central America, I've never seen such a beautiful beach! The water is like a bath, and the best part is, you can have a whole section of the...More

Very nice for a day tour from Bastimentos or Bocas del Toro. Nice snorkeling, beautiful beach. It's possible to see reef sharks (they are not dangerous to humans).

As the title says it's the second beach I loved more in my life after Saona island in Dominican Republic. The ocean is amazing and you can enjoy of an amazing beach day.

We're actually standing in LAX having just flowing in from SJO after 8 days in Bocas, and BDT had so much more to do than the Caribbean side of CR/Puerto Viejo. But from PV to BDT is around 4.5 hours door to door, border... More
