Colon, Panama. We were on an eleven day cruise. Our second stop was Colon, Panama. We booked a tour to see the Canal, and monkeys. It was an outstanding tour. After an hours drive to Gatun lake and the Panama Canal we boarded pontoon boats. Our guide guaranteed not only would we see monkeys, we'd get up close and personal.... More

Always wanted to be out on that Lake with the ocean going ships. Sure had to watch for their wake. So high thought you would bounce out of the boat. Great drivers who do it all the time. They went to the. Low lieing areas where the money's and lizards , sloths are after the fun time on this huge... More

We booked this tour after going to see the Canal Lock. Jeeps took us up the mountain for breathtaking vistas, and Sloths! We zip lined for about an hour. Guides were delightful. Took the boat tour on Lake Gatun Following this excursion. Also very nice after a hot day at the Canal.

The company is now called Gatun Adventura in Colon - just down the street from Melia Hotel. The zipline takes you right over Gatun Lake--howler monkeys in the trees, etc... Our three teenagers had a fantastic time! Call Antonilo if you want more information 6785-0129

We got to take a boat ride on the lake, and it was wonderful. We got to see a sloth, a toucan and monkeys! Absolutely breathtaking.

Sure, the Panama Canal is a wonder for the world to see, but this ecological experience I had with Gatun Eco Adventures was the funnest thing I did in Panama, and obviously one of my favorites. The zipline is an amazing experience that kept me wanting more and site itself where this is hosted is a beautiful native sanctuary that... More

I did their zip line when I was in Panama with an Overseas Adventure Travel group in June 2010. It was the highlight of my trip! Of course, going through the locks is why I came to Panama, but this was a thrill that I wasn't expecting. I felt they were very professional yet friendly and they seemed very safety... More
