The Memorial is a small plaque just off the roundabout. The area has been recently had a bit of a tidy up but is hardly worth stopping for.

Was a bit tricky to find. Located adjacent to the Old Airport, which is now vacant land. A small memorial to honor the last place a legend was seen. Somewhat overgrown nearby but the memorial itself is kept clean with flowers planted and cared for....More

A stone with a plaque and a gun turret is all thats here and its in a very small park that is not well kept at all. It is not very safe for tourists in that area aswell. Very sad to see that it's called...More

I read somewhere that in the 1920's Lae airport was the busiest airport in the world. That was then. Now it's a dump. Literally. Just a field with long grass. Some shipping containers and people chewing betel nut. Suggest you keep driving right on past...More

There is literally nothing worth seeing here. The surrounds are long grass, rubbish and mud. I wouldn't stop here.
