We drove into Brazil from Paraguay (no visa needed) and down to Iguazu Falls (real name in english). We were stopped by a woman just before the main entrance to the park. Private vehicles are not allowed. I thought we might be getting scammed, but we paid 10mil paraguayan ($2US) to park in the rear lot that is watched. We... More

I lived in Ciudad del Este for 10 years. I've visisted "Las Cataratas" on the brazilian side a couple of times. But this time I went to the Argentinian side. I was amazed. I visited Niagara falls a few years back and let me tell you, "Las Cataratas del Iguazu" are far better!! If you go on the argentinian side,... More

I did the falls on the Argentinian side. All I can say is wow!! What a day. I walked about 12k and saw the falls from all sorts of different angles. There are trails you walk along. You can also take a boat right up to and under the falls. One of the finders of the world.

I have travelled extensively and would put the Iguassu Falls in the top 10 places in the world that you really should not miss. Mrs Roosevelt, wife of the US President, said when she saw them "Poor Niagara " and that just about sums it up. More striking too than the Victoria Falls or the Angel falls We stayed in... More

Beautiful waterfalls! If you are travelling from Asuncion, Paraguay to Iguazu Falls be sure to see these first on the way there! There is a coffee shop just over top of these falls. Enjoy!

The Iguacu Falls are pretty much indescribable. It is a must-see if you are anywhere near here. Behind every turn, there is view that will take your breath away. If you have the time, go and see the falls from both sides, the Brazilian and the Argentinian side. It really is one of the most beautiful places on earth!

you can't miss going here... recommend doing so in the Argentinian side. You'll need a full day, and it will entail a bit of walking.

Breathtaking! It is one of the places you have to visit in your life, The tour at the Brazilian side has the views, while the tour at the Argentinian side gives you the experience of the waterfalls. Try to go to both sides, We used Martin Travel as tour operator, which was excellent. Great guide, and great logistic. I was... More
