The island is in Lake Titicaca, three hours by boat from Puno and is a tropical paradise where you can stay at the hotel spa. It is a very long hard walk up from where you land, exacerbated by the high altitude. A buggy is used to carry luggage to the hotel, and it is also used for visitors who... More

a hotel with a garden as big as the Island is. How cool is that? I definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Is good for honeymoon couples, for families for friends, etc. You can swim, kayaking, chill in the hammocks, play pool or just relax next to the cheminy. Since it's just a small deluxe hotel, you feel home... More

We stayed only one night and wished we had had another to fully enjoy the tranquility of the island. We came to Suasi Island via a visit to Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island. It was great to arrive and just stop! No wifi, no traffic, just local, flora and fauna to enjoy. The lake is approximately 8 degrees Celsius so... More

Do not visit this location at dusk, the bugs swarm so bad you can't fight your way out of it. We usually visit going or coming to Puno from the airport. A very interesting burial site set upon a beautiful small lake. I love playing with the street vendors children on the path up to the ruins as well as... More

We stayed one night here after visiting the floating islands and Taquile island. The staff here are excellent, the food is tasty and the scenery is spectacular. The one BIG complaint is that they charge a LOT for a bottle of water and there is no alternative. We did not know that we should have brought our own water as... More

A three-hour boat ride from bustling Puno finds you in this tranquil island. It could be a million miles away, it's beautiful, peaceful, a great place to rest. The accommodation and food are first-class. We had one of the suites with a huge bed, wood-burning stove and hot water bottle. The staff are very helpful, and the clear night sky... More

Island Suasi was more wonderful than we could have imagined. The island is beautiful and peaceful. Our vegetarian meals were excellent. Martha, the owner, took extra care to be sure that everything was perfect for us; she looked after us like we were beloved children. Our room had a lovely view of the lake and a staff person built a... More

The views you get , the attention of the same owners! , the peace, the sounds of the titicaca. Everything makes this a unique experience, it's a paradise on earth. Fully recommended. If you go to Puno try to spend one or two nights here , you won't regret it .

Really a beautiful and relaxing stay on this private island on lake Titicaca. Suasi island offers incredibles views of distant mountains , islands of Bolivia, orange sunsets and an unforgettable night sky . You can really take advantage of the beauty of the lake in a serene and relaxing environment. The hotel ( which is no longer part of Casa... More

We stayed at the only hotel on this small island. Really beautiful and very well looked after by the owner. Top is 4010m. We walked up for a spectacular sunset. Seeing wild lamas and vicunas so close to take pictures was fun. The night sky is also amazing. A must to stay here one night.
