Historically important site for Filipino Christians where evangelization and Christianity was introduced. The location and surrounding areas needs improvement but the site itself is in good condition. I recommend that visitors to Cebu City include this place in their itinerary.

Neat little site that's worth checking out if you're in the vicinity of touring the Basilica. Worth a 15 min visit (max). The park around it is somewhat basic with most of the activities really anchored around the Basilica. Some vendors can be a bit...More

Not as seen in pictures but interesting place. In a not so safe place of Cebu recommend going in group or tour. Interesting part of town to see.

Another must see when you're in the city. Cebu is just full of history and culture. A lot of vendors as well outside just make sure you dont get overwhelmed by them.

Many tourists come to take a picture. One cross is standing there, no explanation or description provided, so go there only to memorise the history of Magellan's arrival. If you are a history fan, I think this is a must go place.

historical landmark for Christianity. this is few steps away to the Basilica de Sto. Nino. It is like you have two in one destination. must thing to do if you are a Roman Catholic.

There wasn't really much to see... this is definitely a quick stop on a day of sightseeing. Pretty much once you have seen the cross and taken a photo there isn't much else to do.

The area is better now than my first visit in 1999, although it lost it's heritage look/feel. It's better in terms of cleanliness but the feel is somehow commercialized. Would suggest its rustic/antique look will be maintained..
