Nice clean park

We took a tricycle as close as they were allowed to get to the park and walked the rest. Beautiful little park at the beach ( mostly locals ). Worth seeing if you are on Mactan

A nice spot for tourists. We have been here several times always with out-of-town visitors. Early evening (before dark) is always the best time.

This park is quite very popular to all tourist and its very relaxing and chillaxing . Good for a short walk around, no entry fee. There's a few souvenir shops but no food to purchase. Bring something with you.

The tourist site was well taken cared of and kept clean. It needs a map so you can tour the sight knowing where the statue is or the shrine is. When we arrived at the location, there were people offering to give you their umbrella shades from the sun. We found out later that they are affiliated with some restaurants... More

I must see in Mactan, Cebu. Lapu Lapu was known for the Battle of Mactan that on April 27, 1521, where he and his soldiers defeated Ferdinand Magellan.

Lapu Lapu was a Mactan chieftain who killed Fernandez Magellan in 1521 at a battle on the northern coast of Mactan Island, delaying Spanish colonization of the Philippines for some 40 years. He is regarded as a national hero, and there are monuments and memorials to him everywhere. This one is on the actual battle site, where Magellan's ships floundered... More

Good place to take photos and to chill with little budget. There are food stalls selling affordable food items as well as novelty shops selling Cebu made souvenir items.
