I guess it's beautifully designed but could be better with more lights. It's nice to feel the sea breeze &if u... More

I'm a native of the the island so I've been here countless times and I pass by this park on the way to work so I shouldn't be impressed anymore, but I still am. Seeing tourists and visitors in the area makes me feel good because finally they've been to this iconic and very significant place in our history. I... More

It may sound corny but I was ecstatic to visit this historical place. Visited it in the morning so it was a bit hot. Good thing it was not crowded since it was a weekday.

A memorial to Douglas MacArthur on his return to the Philippines. If your visiting Leyte then this is one of the landmarks worth visiting. Make for a good photo opportunity and a piece of history. Great the the statues were rebuilt quickly after some damage due to typhoon Yolanda.

A very inspiring memorial to Douglas MacArthur and his entourage on his return to the Philippines. A great photo opportunity the way the memorial was constructed. Just a few minutes away from the city of Tacloban, well worth the visit. The statutes command respect as they are larger than life. The memorial and statutes are a well kept tribute. Thanks... More

The design of this monument is very well done. The pool seems to meet the sea and the statues appear to be actually wading out of the water. The surrounding park is beautiful and well maintained.

General McArthur survived the 2013 Thypoon Yolanda. Rest of the park is still under repair. I was surprised to see many tourists there. Very relaxing to walk around.
