Small museum with a collection of items and clothes used by people in Transylvania, mainly in the past decades and century. Worth a 1 hour visit. Cheap ticket.

Nice people in the entrance, doing their best to explain us how it works even tho there was some kind of kids show. Interesting museum and good explanations, english and romanian. Recommend it.

If you are in Cluj, you must check this place. The history scents are all over you turn your head. Lots of objects that keep years of history behind them. I recommend this museum for anyone who wants to know more about Romania

The museum displays nice and interesting items, but the display is obsolete and looks dusty. More recently the museum accommodates exhibitions of fine arts of different quality. The shop has friendly staff but is not too rich.

This museum is wonderful in its interpretation and presentation of the lives and customs of the people of the region. My favorite exhibit was the room of regional costumes. The many lovely rugs and cloths made in the area were on view. The gift shop is great for getting take home memories.

We loved this museum. It is the perfect place to start any trip to Romania; as it helps to understand the history. The costume exhibit is fabulous.

A very authentic collection of houses and traditional farms and the most impressive element is the genuine atmosphere you will find there, with tomatoe rows between the houses and summer apples in the back gardens. It's like visiting one's childhood home. Looking forward to visiting it during autumn, the view should be even better than summer time. The entrance fee... More

Very nicely laid out Museum of Romanian life. Do go! Beautiful costumes and tools, toys, pottery etc. Lovely helpful lady in the gift shop who took great pleasure in showing us all her antique linens.
