part of the old wall of defense of the city, this place has been recently refurbished and transformed into a small exhibition area. The stone walls are impressive and it`s woth visiting for a price less that 2 euros.

I did not enter (not sure it is open to the public) but it is a very well preserved structure that was parat of the city fortifications. It is called the "Tailor's Bastin" becasue each such tower was assigned to a particular trade group (in this case, the tailors) to man and defend the city when attached.

Whilst walking the streets of this beautiful city there is so much to see. Tailors tower is located on the corner of Strada Avram Iancu and Strada Cuza voda. Built in the 15th century this proud tower and wall still stands today, a remnant of the old fortified town. Definitely worth a look, good photo opportunity to be had.

This wall is from the old days of Cluj history. Its not that much to see. You could park the car and start from here and then walk to Piata uniri. There are some old house to see during the walk.

not too many things inside but still worth visiting. I have read somewhere that you will get unlimited amount of Romanian food and a pretty Romanian wife if you make the ticket-man smile. also, do not write worthless comments in the visitor's book because later I will have to go there and comment on your comments. Romanians are not the... More

This tower is one of the last remains of the old fortress of Napoca. Is the single one that you could visit and is very nice place for exhibitions.

There wasn't a magnificent view over the city and the displays were Romanian Art and a small show on an explorer. Wanted to learn about how it was built and who had lived/worked there and how the Gilds functioned, but sadly not to be. Oh well.

This bastion shows part of the ancient, medevial history of Cluj. it is part of a wall and the tower. Easy to reach from the city center in just a few minutes walking distance and close to the Greek-Orthodox Church under construction. the tower host exipition and similar event. Worth to see it.

This building has been restored and the bastion now hosts cultural events, mostly exhibitions. It has a strong character. The architectural intervention is interesting, because all added element have a clear modern look, in contrast with the original elements.

Now it is a place for art exhibitions and you can see it from outside, but is beautiful. Close to the city center and definitely worth seeing. You can sit on the bench next to it and enjoy the view. Peace of history.
