Two great monuments to the past are the Tsar Cannon, the largest cannon in the world, located right outside Cathedral Square, and the 200-ton Tsar Bell, which was silenced by fire and now sits at the foot of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower.

Enormous bell, so large it could not actually be used for the purpose for which it was created! The large bell and cannon are a fun show of Russian power and we enjoyed seeing these along our walk through the Kremlin.

Both the Czar Bell and Cannon are displayed inside Kremlin. Both displayed items are huge and most of the tourists come here to take photos.

The largest bell - the Zarine- and the biggest canyon with the biggest bullets you will ever see, despite the fact that the were larger than the diameter of the canyon...!!! Not to miss when walking along the Kremlin.

The Tsar's Cannon and Bell were interesting to see. Both are very large and neither were ever used. They sit inside the Kremlin and are very crowded. This is a nice picture op.

Both the Tsar Bell and The Tsar Cannon can be seen on a tour of the Kremlin as they are located in the grounds. The Bell is massive, but flawed, with the broken segment that meant it never rung being shown next to the gap...More

These are two of the things that can be seen with a general admittance ticket to the Kremlin. The bell and cannon are both impressively large in scale, and ornate in design. There is a certain irony that neither has ever performed their primary function...More
