This is another beautiful cathedral to see when you visit the Kremlin. The onion domes of this one are all gold in colour and there are plenty of impressive frescoes to admire inside. Of course photography isn't permitted in the interior.

This church located inside the Kremlin is beautiful both inside and out. The well cared for frescos are a delight. The white washing with the gold domes of the exterior are striking.

I must just say. I have not been into this cathedral as we were a huge group visiting, but the outside of it is just so glorious. Just a shame the sun was not shining on those gold domes.

Located on the Cathedral Square, it competes with the other Cathedrals in beauty, but for me this is my favorite. It originate from the medieval times, but every Tsar made modifications to it. Ivan the Terrible added one special Porch for him, since he was...More

The Cathedral can be easily identified because of her gold-plated domes. Both the internal pictures and the external outlooks are beautiful. With the Golden domes easily seen from across the river, this Cathedral is one of several that make up Cathedral Square within the Kremlin itself. The glittering domes are an invitation to an equally highly decorated interior of a Cathedral that is associated with the...More

This is one of the churches located within the Cathedral Square. It may look as impressive from the exterior compared too the other church in the Square but it is definitely worth a visit inside the church.

This cathedral looks wonderous from a distance with it's towering golden globes but up close it looks rather worn. Inside though is different and is beautifully decorated and charming.
