I didn't enjoy the vibe of an upmarket exclusive mall at all. It felt a little soulless and rather like you could have been in any city, rather than beautiful Moscow. It isn't really a great shop anymore. In the sense that Selfridges, Harrods or KaDeWe in Berlin are still great shops with a single definite curatorial feel. It feels... More

Lots of shops in this three level building. Shops with different kind of perfume, clothes, jewellery etc.. Including some cafés and restaurants to have something to eat. You also need to enjoy the ice cream served near the fountain. Do not take the Bosco ice but the other one.

The only thing I enjoyed in GUM was the fact that I got warm in a very cold day . The stores were extra expensive, the food was extra medium and the ambiance not very attractive. Very few toilets for such a big department (and as a consequence they were really dirty) and escalators only going up. If you want... More

This is probably the most beautiful shopping centre I have ever visited. Very romantic atmosphere, and not overcrowded.

Most everything in this indoor shopping center is high end merchandise so not a place to find bargains. Nonetheless the fact it is indoors makes it nice when it is cold outside and the architecture of the building is quite nice so certainly worth a walk through.

Old department store, since communist times it has been a symbol of Soviet commerce. During the perstroika it became the symbol of new trade in the market economy. Today a luxury department store that keeps old traditions in the light of new realities.

In red square lies the GUM. A huge department store that looks like a palace on the outside. On the inside it looks great as well with many aisles, many stores and many places you can eat or even watch a movie. Prices vary, although it's mostly medium to expensive. You can find almost anything you want in there and... More

We came here the first afternoon to buy supplies for our artistic project and we almost forgot what we were there for... this place has such elegance and beauty, and it is huge! It is airy and spacious and light, it is the most beautiful department store I have ever seen in the world

Me and my family went to visit the beautiful GUM Department Store but there was nothing we could buy because of the high prices. Eventhough it´s worth having a quick look to all the luxury shops and beautiful people moving around the place
