The venue was smaller than expected considering today's standard. However, it was glorious. Pay attention to your ticket. There are several entrances. The door number will be on the ticket. There was appropriate security in place to feel safe. Be prepared to surrender your coat...More

The Bolschoi-Theater is very very beautiful inside and the performance on the stage is even more impressive. The theater is not without any reason so famous for its ballet.
This is a beautiful classic theater. We sat in the 3d balcony and were not disappointed by the ability to see the stage. And, the ballet was out of this world. It was well worth the trip

We saw "The Golden Age" ballet at this theater. I am not a ballet officionado, but loved this. The second act was much better than the first. Just felt how could you be in Russia and not see the ballet.
