As with all my reviews of this area, I would urge potential visitors to learn some Russian or, at least familiarise yourself with the alphabet. If you dont, not only will you struggle to get anything done but you will miss out on so much....More

I fine exposition of soviet war-time propoganda posters and other objects from the war period. Dark and dank in places but fascinating to wander through the fort. But waht your step! Uneven paths!!

it's out of the city but it worth the travel! give very clear picture of the battle size. with +25C outside it was almost freezing inside with vapour visible when breathing. a bit scary at some points but it only adds emotions!

long tunnels and very atmospheric.. well worth a visit... take flat shoes tho as quite dark and some scrambling needed.. great to visit...
