One of the oldest monastery in Russia. The 2nd sight of Novgorod after Kremlin with St.Sofia cathedral. 15 minites by car or bys from city center. Museum of wooden architecture in within walking distance. Nice surroundings of Volkhov river and huge Ilmen lake.
