The place is old railway station. There are many old train head. This is the best museum of railway in Russia. Next to it is the shopping hall.

This is probably one of the best, if not the best, railway museums in Russia. There is really much to see. I reserved 3 hours for the museum, but spent there almost 4 hours. Of course you can run through it, but if you want to get a good look at everything, you need to reserve 4-5 hours. Of course... More

If you are into trains, then this place is for you!!!! Great collection of steam locomotives, diesel locomotives and other bits of railway artifacts. Most items have English language display cards. Key exhibits for me was the Soviet era mobile missile train and the WWII era railway canon. For railfans and maybe non-railfans might find it interesting too! A great... More

I really liked this place, it is basically a giant collection of Russian trains throughout the ages housed on the platforms of an old train station. The highlight is the missile train which is setup in launch position, ready to send an intercontinental missile off round the world.

Nice an huge collection of trains, no model stuff, just real size and shape. The trains is i different condition, some bad other ok, but they had alle done there service on the tracks so to speak. This outdoor museum is a great collection of about 80 pieces of rolling stock, passenger cars, engines, and even cars with artillery and a ballistic missile (see photo)!
