This big and nice museum have the best and biggest collction of Russian art. Take at least 2 hours to visit the 100 old art museum with best masterpieceis.

Russian state museum is the museum that you must visit. The exibitions that it offers let the visitors travel through time in Russia- and not only.If you want to enjoy it you need at least 4 hours

Allow several hours to do this place justice. It is packed with a superb collection of paintings, sculptures and ceramics in particular some wonderful examples from the Soviet era.

Yes there is a cloak-room, and they will store small luggage. I'm not sure if they'll accept suitcases or larger bags. Didn't see any.
