This bridge is different, it has statues of lions that appear to be holding the bridge from their mouths, another fine example.

We stayed at the hotel just next to Lions bridge. Nothing special, they got plenty of statues in this town. But hey, what did you expect?;)

This is one of St Petersburg's smaller bridges, being designed just for pedestrians, but it's still quite attractive and worth a stop as you explore the canals. There's not too much to see and after all it's ultimately just a bridge, so a few minutes...More

There are many pedestrian bridges along the canal in the city of St. Petersburg and Lion's Bridge is one of them. There are four lions acting as guards on both sides of the bridge which really facilitate passers-by to cross the canal. We were lucky...More

With all the bridges in St. Petersburg it is unique to see a pedestrian bridge with such character. Not a "must see" but if you are taking a river cruise make sure you look up at this one.

We have an apartment 50 meters from this bridge. I love those noble Lions! What dignified expressions. Poor, long-suffering, covered with graffiti, but they maintain their nobility no matter what. I visit this bridge 20-30 times a year minimum.

Also rather far away from Nevski but worth to see it. It's possible to see this bridge from river cruise boats also (recommended by sumnmer time)
