The Stroganaov palace is fairly interesting and contains some very beautiful rooms. The main room to see in the palace is the mineral study. There aren't that many huge crowds here which made it very comfortable to be in. This is the type of attraction...More

Maybe this had a lot of land around it when built but now it's shoehorned on Nevskiy along with shops and offices, though it is on a corner. It's not particularly grand. We did hear a couple of stories about how Count Stroganov invented beef...More

It s true , compare to some others palaces This one is empty, no furniture so the ambiance is less romantique but it still to be interesting The ballroom is just stunning and the staff is more friendly that the others !

The palace seems to not be popular with tourists, which is a shame. It is lovely and should be included on more itineraries. It is small, but there is lots of great architecture inside.

One of the most beautiful museums on Nevsky prospect. I love the Empire style in general so it was such a big pleasure for me to walk around the halls of the palace, to look at the marvelous fretwork and listen to the entertaining story...More

We were walking down the street and just happened to see this fantastic museum/palace. It isn't advertised well on the street and we had to go in to see if it was even a museum. And what a museum it is--the most gorgeous rooms you...More
