We undertook this trip following on from Trans Mongolian in June 2018. We travelled in a twin berth and recommend this if stying on the train for extended periods of time as it allows greater room for luggage and just to move in the Cabin....More

Highly recommended trip, St Petersburg-Kirkenes-Moscow, on a refurbished luxury train. Food was gourmet, abundant and varied, even though each day we only had a choice from 2 starters and 2 mains, it was thoughtfully worked out. Russians over-feed you anyway! We quickly got use to...More

It was fantastic. The day trips were great, particularly Lake Baikal in Siberia. The food was great on the train. Very nostalgic. Also investigate staying overnight in a Yert, ( a kind of round tent), when in Mongolia.
