The Museum of History of the Krasnoyarsk Railway opened on June 20, 1987. The fund has about 14 000 items of storage. In August 2017, by the 30th anniversary of the museum, the museum moved to a new premise. The updated expositions are exhibited in new windows. There are 5 halls in the museum: "Passenger", "Movements", "Infrastructures", "Social" and "Cinema-lecture". The museum presents materials on the history of Russia's railways, the Trans-Siberian Railway, and the technology of construction and operation on the Krasnoyarsk railway. Every year, the museum and its branches are visited by 25 thousand people.
