It has more than 13 millions of units (books, magazines, papers, publications). Under the big square in front of the library's building there's 5 floors of underground storage of books and documents.

Good library, though with old infrastructure. People there polite and helpful, but it a place to work and not to see. Square in front of the library becomes more and more nice. Good place to sit, have a snack or cone of ice-cream.

This library has a distinct building commonly pictured on the post cards. It is also one of a few libraries in Russia which was supposed to receive a copy of every technical book published in the country. That made it quite famous in the city....More
