This was a surprisingly amazing museum and everything was explained in English. The history of this trade is fascinating and started early here. The pieces are just amazing, the animals, the figurines and especcially the flowers of stone.

A very nice place for any person interested in jewelry and all mineralogical staff. The collection is not really big and will not be that tiresome to take too much of your time

This museum was a nice surprise, because i'm generally not a museum person. I knew nothing about stone or stone carving before. In retrospect, given the geology of the Urals and Ekaterinburg's prominence in the region, it is only to be expected that there should...More

The place is not big. You can see it in one hour. The ladies in charge are absolutelly friendly specially if you have some small Russian skills. But I expected a greater display of stones, jewels or how to work them. And there is not...More
