This Museum is located very near to Masjid-e-Nabvi (Haram) you may even travel by walking from Haram. Is a wounderful place which shows you the lot of knowledge about Madina and Islamic history.

Very nice, simple , historical. The lighting & presentations are good, staff are polite & helpful to the visitors. The only noise made is by the visitors themselves. It will be worthwhile to provide clear advice to visitors for no noise & no photography.

I believe non muslims cannot enter this museum as this is inside Madina. Makkah and Madina only can be visited by muslims. If you want to visit such museum (Hijaz Railway) you can come to Al Hijr in the city of Al Ulaa, Saudi Arabia. It has the same history. But if you look for the ancient scriptures of Quran, I don't think they will be found in Al Ulaa.
I don't know about the visa but I found a couple of non muslim elderly visiting Al Ulaa Museum. Maybe you could ask your local consulate as you are based in Kuwait I believe it will be easier. May Allah ease your way.
