This part of Guangzhou is full of modern city landscape and bustling with tourists and businessmen alike. It is relatively new compared to the rest of Guangzhou and is the CBD. My only problem with this area is that once you wander away from the city centre (but still in Zhujiang New Town) it becomes desolated.

What a spectacular set of buildings, the park is beautiful to walk through both day and night. Night time was my favourite as the buildings were lit up with beautiful colours. The atmosphere is so peaceful despite it being busy.

I went to 2.Huacheng Avenue No. 203, GTL spring Plaza No. 85-87 and after one hour inside the mall I went outside and there were all these skyscrapers and even one with a visible helipad

Around here you will experience the modern development of China. It can be considered as an area of cultural and financial features. If your friends or business partners come to Guangzhou, showing them around here is good choice. There are Guangdong Museum, Opera House and Guangzhou Library. I suggest to go there by Metro APM line at Haixinsha station.

The new town of Zhujiang is a cultural paradise. It encompasses the Opera House, Museum and Library and is a wonderful open space within walking distance of the Canton Tower to the south. It is well served by the Subway system and the river runs through the southern end of the plaza. Strolling through the area at night is a... More

Zhujiang New Town (Pearl River) is Guangzhou's CBD, with scores of cool high-rise buildings, apartment complexes and shopping malls. In terms of rent, it is one of the most expensive places in Guangzhou for both offices and apartments, but you are paying for both recognition (in terms of your office address!) and convenience in terms of living. There are several... More
