The museum in Yuexiu Park gives a good summary of the development of Guangzhou. Nice little videos, though not much English. All in all not overly exiting, but I felt the view from the top balcony made the visit worthwhile.

This delightful Museum provides many insights into the reasons behind Guangzhou's (and China's) socio-economic development!! It is located in an interesting, Historical 5 level pagoda-- Zhenhai Tower... which is in the large Yuexiu Park.... There are many artefacts which help tell the "fascinating story"!!
This simple museum has some interesting artefacts however is pretty simple. I liked the museum because it gave me a better understanding of Guangzhou's relationship with the world and its distance from Beijing.
