Combined with a visit to the Canton Tower nearby and perhaps a trip on the river boat this attraction must be the best of what Guangdong can offer to the tourist. At night it is just fantastic. Almost everything here is lit in LED of...More

Did not get around to do this at night..would have been more enjoyable, cooler and a better backdrop. However it gives you a taste of the buildings both commercial and residential that have spawned since "the reins" were loosened Our trip ended at Canton tower..very...More

The Pearl River boat ride gives you a rare opportunity to view the Canton high-buildings and city landscape. There is a feeling of serenity and joy during the ride.

It can be concluded as pearl of Guangzhou. It resembles the economy of the city. It is hustle and bustle in the day time yet continues lively at night. It is a recreational area for locals, a dating place for couples and an attractions for...More

Showed the city of Guangzhou at night with all the brightly lit buildings and bridges, especially Canton tower with its beautiful changing coloured lights. It also hides the colour of the polluted river. Great photo opportunities if you stay on the top deck

The boat has a large screen playing loud commercials about their cruises. Trying to photograph the sights was impossible thanks to the reflection of the advertising on the windows. For the latter part of the trip they auctioned off banners which had Chinese calligraphic images...More
