When in Xian in 1997 the wall was incomplete but the bel, tower and the drum tower were still there. How things can change in China. Good to visit for the history

The Bell Tower is allocates just in front of the Bell Tower Subway station and this makes it easy to access. This is not a huge attraction. This looks magnificent at night. Remember to get the ‘package’ ticket for entry to the Bell and Drum...More

The city streets are lovely at night with Bell Tower and Drum tower highlighted and streets lined with bright red lighted Chinese Knots. Worth a leisure stroll after dark.

It was nice to see traditional buildings around. The bell tower is high up and can be seen clearly from a distance.

Just interesting. It is a nice building to see and if you are in the athletic side you can climb the stairs. It is in an old part of Beijing quite interesting to visit too.

Get a pass for Bell tower and drum tower. Get these from the underpass but sometimes there are long queues.Busy at weekends.Good views from upper floors but lots of narrow steps. No wheelchair access and limited mobility options

Xian is not very big, so when visiting the Bell Tower you are also surrounded by lots of other things to explore. This attraction is best to be seen at night, I would recommend going in the evening to experience the families and lively atmosphere.

Fun visit. You can learn a little about the history of the towers. At the top, you will get a good view of the city. We went just as the sun was going down. For some reason, they waived the admission cost. (Great!) We enjoyed...More

The Xi'an Bell Tower is very much worth a short evening stroll if you are staying in one of the nearby hotels. The lighting is very striking and the people watching is quite fun.
