Very impressive when its lighted at night. If you are coming here take note of the performance timing , enjoying though its only a 10 minutes musical play.

The Drum & Bell Tower are just 100 metres apart and are a good historical site. Apart from these towers, one can do lots of shopping in the nearby Mall & the Muslim Bazar. It's a busy area but a visit to the place is...More

The Drum Tower was cool to see. Outside there is a display of large drums and there was a historical display inside while we were visiting. It will not take you long to see this attraction but it's good for pictures and has a rich...More

The Drum Tower is not itself anything special - you do not have to go up to the tower (cost35 RMB): there is nothing really interesting in it - just some old furniture and during summer music is being played at certain times. You have...More

It is recommended to come to the metro station, which is close to the Bell tower and then walk to the Drum tower. I heard the Drum tower is more beautiful inside than the Bell tower. However, I liked to walk through the Muslim quarter...More

I found my pic on Tripadvisor. The performance times are 9:10, 10:00, 11:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. Be 30 minutes early as seats are very limited.
Can anybody confirm the winter opening hours? Some sources say 18:00, others say 22:00. Thank you, JT
