What you'll see here "mainly" is an underground museum which is quite alright with some "interesting displays" like this model set of three carts pulled by four horses each with a red umbrella on top of each and some guards or such in colorful clothes...More

Most unrated highlights in Xian. Not crowded with visitors where you can leisurely enjoy the mausoleum and museum. A bit out of the way.

This place is not as famous as the Qin's Terra Cotta Warriors but it's still pretty amazing. It's smaller in size but still impressive. I saw this before visiting Qin's Terra Cotta Warriors, it's a good warm-up to see the big one. Also, it's in...More

It was very interesting to see this archeological site, which has been preserved with many of the findings under a roof. The tomb itself is not excavated, but if you are in Xian ,this is must see, although less impressive as the Terra Cota Warriors

So impressed by the artisans who create these so many years ago. Again quite crowded but take your time and you will get a great look at all of the displays and appreciate the great work of the archaeologists.

Wow another awesome place - under ground museum and walk on glass above such a great place. the lighting is not bright in part of the museum but that is to stop reflection and help not damage the artifacts. There are three parts to this...More
