Well laid out, spacious, clean museum. Plenty of English descriptions for each area. It wasn't at all busy when I visited in November but it was out of season. The setting is lovely and it is surrounded by a well kept garden and tea plantation....More

I enjoyed this visit. While I didn't use them, there were cafes and a restaurant up there. I learned a lot from the well-written English-language exhibits. You're not just looking at tea, they also have porcelain, etc. I took bus 27 to get up there....More

I believe there is a fee. I traveled with Shanghai Outing Club. The trip was a hike of the tea plantation and visit to the museum with one fee for the entire trip. Highly recommend the hike.

The bus stop is on the main road; take a left at the exit and head towards Lu Cha. I think we took bus 27 back to the north end of West Lake.
